in order for it to glide effortlessly
over waters both calm and raging
shall I call to you to join me
in my canoe or look for
an invitation to join yours
a decision making it my canoe
or yours nevertheless the
point being that I seek
to be in any canoe with you
assuring that the trip will
be a success and the goal
attained.
