To some it seems to matter
whether Jesus had a wife or lover.
They need to know for sure
that he did not enjoy any human
pleasure or even a moment of doubt.
They would never think that he
could have been gay.
Whether Jesus had a wife or lover
Whether Jesus was straight or gay
Whether Jesus ever had a doubt
about his life or mission
is important to some
but to me
it seems that he taught us to live
as if those things don't matter.
