The patience of God must surely grow thin as we send prayers and thoughts but continue to be satisfied to sit back and wait for God to act. Well, it appears to me that God has done the God part; we have the capacity to love and to act to stop this insanity if we only will do it.
We are they
and
they are us.
we are
eating
our children
and
killing
our neighbors.
we are
turning
the lights of hope
off
even
as
we
put up
the images
that once
reminded us
we held
the
teachings
of
Jesus
in
high respect
and while
there is time
we
can
still
bring dawn to the
darkness
if we
want
to
but
we
must
want
it
and
we
must
do it.
God already did
the God part.
